The Art of Writing Daily

I recently listened to a Design Better Podcast episode with Seth Godin as the guest. He talked about the importance of writing daily.

“Everyone should have a blog, even if no one reads it you should blog everyday — even if you write it under a pseudonym. And the reason is simple; if you go to bed knowing that you have to wake up and write something every morning, it will become a productive opening for you. If you know you need to make assertions about how the world is, promises about how you will make the world, it will make it more likely that you will keep those promises. You can describe in writing, the change you seek to make and who you seek to change, just the act of concretising will keep you on track.” — Seth Godin

My attempt at follow through

Anyone who knows me also knows that I have a tendency to start something with enthusiasm and struggle to finish it. This is a curse for some ENFP types; It is known fact that we have great enthusiasm when it comes to starting a project — we are “idea people” after all, but we lack the follow-through. I’m working on this… 😬

I thought about whether this blog should be just for me, and I’ve decided that although I am no wordsmith and rarely write, perhaps making this public will hold me accountable.

What will I write about?
